Taco Soup

makes 6 servings
In a large saucepan put in the following ingredients:
4 cups beef stock (1 beef oxo cube per cup)
1 onion finely chopped
3/4 cup barley
2 sticks of celery sliced
2 sticks of carrots cubed
2 tins of tomato soup
a shake of garlic powder
1 tin butter beans drained
1 tin Red kidney beans drained
2 medium potatoes peeled and cubed
  1. Bring everything to the boil
  2. Reduce the heat and simmer for 1-2 hours.

DON'T LET THE PAN BOIL DRY. You may need to add up to another 2 cups of water while cooking.
